7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang (wrist) took modified swings and played catch on Wednesday. Kang is making a slow recovery this year and is unlikely to make an appearance in the big leagues to close out the season. He hasn't played in the majors since 2016 because of off-field issues, but he could become an option at either third base or shortstop again in 2019. Kang could be a late-round sleeper in deeper leagues for his power next season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
