6 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Eduardo Nunez was 3-for-4 on Wednesday with two RBI, three runs scored, and a solo shot. This performance continued a mini hot-streak for Nunez, as he's carrying a .407 average with two homers and five RBI in his last seven games. Although the 31-year-old has seen a lot of playing time this season, he has been a bit of a fantasy disappointment. Nunez is only slashing .266/.290/.376 on the year with nine home runs, 41 RBI, and seven stolen bases. His exposure to the potent Red Sox lineup ensures that he will always have value, but Nunez is not a reliable bat on a nightly basis.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
