7 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu (abdomen) is seven to eight days away from resuming baseball activities, according to manager Rick Renteria. The White Sox are understandably not rushing their slugger back while in rebuilding mode. Abreu should remain stashed in all leagues, though, as he was hitting .272 with 22 home runs and 78 RBI before his injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
