7 years agoChicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant (shoulder), who has started just nine games for the Cubs since June 22 due to his left shoulder injury, finished his rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Thursday and is expected to be activated from the disabled list on Saturday. Bryant went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts on Thursday and was 2-for-10 with three walks in four strikeouts in four games with Iowa. The slugging third baseman has been out since July 23 but will be a welcome addition for the Cubs and fantasy owners alike.
