7 years agoThe Oakland Athletics optioned outfielder Nick Martini and relief pitcher Ryan Dull to Triple-A Nashville on Friday. Martini was hitting .257 with 12 RBI in 39 games with the A's this year and was most recently called up on July 7. He hit .394 over his first 15 games but then went 12-for-58 (.207) over his last 19 contests. Martini is hitting .308 with a .415 on-base percentage in 73 games at Nashville in 2018. With rosters expanding on Saturday, expect Martini to be right back up and return to a platoon role in center field. Martini is remains an option in AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
