7 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Joshua Dobbs boosted his trade value in the preseason finale against the Panthers on Thursday. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Dobbs is one of the quarterbacks that has "generated interest" around the league, and he could be dealt in the next 24 hours. He was eight of 12 passing for 151 yards (12.6 yards per attempt) with a touchdown. He also ran for a touchdown. If he isn't traded, Dobbs hopes he did enough to secure a backup job alongside rookie Mason Rudolph. In the preseason overall, Dobbs was 29-for-43 for 434 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions and a 111.97 passer rating.
