6 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Mike Boone is "safely" on the 53-man roster, according to a source of Chris Tomasson. This is really no surprise as Boone was fantastic all preseason long and was regularly praised by Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer. Boone will be the RB3 behind the talented duo of Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray, but he does seem like a player that the Vikings will want to get involved. Boone's fantasy value is severely limited for now, but an injury or a goal-line back designation would warrant a pickup.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
