6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Eduardo Rodriguez was electric on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. Making his first appearance since July 14, Rodriguez went 5 2/3 innings allowing a single run on three hits. He also piled up 12 strikeouts while walking a single batter. Rodriguez was actually perfect through four innings and struck out 10 of the first 12 guys he faced. It was certainly an impressive return for the 25-year-old as he now has a 12-3 record to go along with a 3.34 ERA on the season. His next start is against the Houston Astros, which poses to be a tougher test, but Rodriguez definitely looks like a pitcher that fantasy owners can ride during the playoff stretch.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
