The Time Is Now For Josh Doctson
6 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson will serve as the team's No. 1 receiver in 2018, heading up a youth movement among the receivers corps. The team kept six receivers, Doctson, Paul Richardson, Jamison Crowder, Maurice Harris, Trey Quinn and Cam Sims, and none of the receivers older than 26. Doctson is the only receiver selected in the first round in the NFL Draft. The former standout missed all but two games of his rookie season, but he showed big improvement in 2017. He registered 35 catches, 78 targets, 502 yards and six scores. Doctson can do so much more, though, and the time is now to stay healthy and live up to his first-round ability. He is a boom-or-best fantasy option, capable of being a WR2 if he lives up to his potential.
