Chris Herndon, Jordan Leggett Head Up Tight Ends
6 years agoThe New York Jets elected to keep tight ends Chris Herndon, Jordan Leggett, Eric Tomlinson and Neal Sterling after announcing their 53-man roster over the weekend. The surprise was not that they retained four tight ends, but that Clive Walford was cut loose. He ended up being productive in training camp and the preseason, so he's likely to land with another organization. Herndon and Leggett are both mid-round draft picks by the team over the past two years, so they were chosen to head up the corps. Herndon is likely to start, but he should only be a treated as a low-end TE2 until further notice. The others have an uphill battle to fantasy relevance.
