7 years agoKansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said that starting pitcher Ian Kennedy (oblique) will make his final rehab start for Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Monday. Yost is leaning toward a six-man rotation when Kennedy returns. The veteran right-hander hasn't pitched in a major league game since July 10. He has a decent 8.3 K/9 over 18 starts, but otherwise he hasn't been effective (5.13 ERA, 1.44 WHIP). Kennedy should be ignored by most fantasy owners upon his return.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
