7 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers waived running back Justin Jackson on Monday in order to make room for veteran tight end Antonio Gates on the 53-man roster. Jackson was a seventh-round pick in this year's draft but lost out on a roster spot to fellow rookie Detrez Newsome after missing most of training camp and the preseason with an injury.
