6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have claimed relief pitcher Luke Farrell off waivers from the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Farrell has posted a 5.17 ERA through 31.1 innings with the Cubs this season. However, he had a 3.64 ERA in 12 starts in Triple-A Iowa this season. Farrell did own a 3.86 ERA with the Cubs before he exploded against D-Backs and his ERA skyrocketed. It's unclear what kind of role he'll have with the Angels because he can pitch in both the rotation and out of the bullpen. Farrell can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
