6 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Franmil Reyes continued his torrid streak Monday, hammering two home runs against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Reyes followed up a three-run job off starter Zack Godley with a solo shot, finishing the evening 2-for-3 with four RBI. Reyes is now amidst a nine-game hitting streak where he’s batting .407 (11-for-27) with six homers. His season slash stands at .261/.314/.544 with 15 long balls in 194 plate appearances. Oddly, he only has 23 RBI. Although the rookie’s strikeout rate remains high at 31 percent, Reyes looks more comfortable at the dish with each opportunity. He’s forced his name into the fantasy discussion for any teams looking for a cheap power source.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
