7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Brett Anderson (forearm) had a successful bullpen session on Wednesday, and he will throw a simulated game on Saturday, according to manager Bob Melvin. If he comes out of Saturday's session without any setbacks, he could return and start on the team's next road trip. While Anderson lacks much fantasy upside because of his lack of K's (4.7 K/9), he has been good for Oakland and has a 4.02 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 13 starts.
