6 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has a tough challenge ahead of him against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. The 2017 first-round pick takes over for Alex Smith as the starting quarterback in KC. He'll face off against the Chargers in L.A. so not exactly an easy task for Mahomes. The Chargers defense ranked top five against the pass last year. Fantasy owners should not expect Mahomes to live up to the hype right away. He should be owned in almost all leagues, but it's difficult to count on him as a QB1 for Week 1.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
