6 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 on Wednesday, scoring two runs and hitting his 34th home run of the season. After slugging .550 in the month of August, the veteran is off to a hot start in September and is slugging .529 through the first 17 at-bats. There are few hitters in the game that have been as consistent as Cruz has been the past several seasons. There still is an outside chance Cruz can get to 40 home runs and 100 RBI's this season and the 38-year-old again has delivered an excellent season for fantasy owners.--Joey C - RotoBaller
