6 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay spent over a quarter of his rookie season out with a hamstring injury. He still was able to leave his mark, averaging 17 yards per catch, which would have been good enough for fourth in the NFL had he qualified. Now the second-year receiver is looking to continue to build his connection with quarterback Matthew Stafford. On Monday, the Lions open the season against the Jets, who had the 22nd-ranked passing defense, according to Football Outsiders. However, since Golladay is expected to line up on the outside, he will have to face either Morris Claiborne or Trumaine Johnson. Regardless, Golladay is healthy and ready to produce in an offense that has thrown for over 4,000 yards in seven straight seasons. Expect him to be a WR5 with WR3 potential in Week 1.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
