7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco's (wrist) MRI exam came back clean on his hand, and he's just dealing with a bone bruise. He will be available to pinch hit on Friday and may be able to return to the lineup in a few days. Franco started off slow this year but has rebounded to hit .267/.311/.470 with 22 homers and 66 RBI in 419 at-bats. With him still out, Asdrubal Cabrera will continue to play the hot corner, with Scott Kingery at shortstop.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
