6 years agoHouston Astros starter Charlie Morton picked up the win in the Astros 5-3 win over the Red Sox on Saturday. Morton (14-3) allowed only two runs on seven hits in five innings of work while striking out three. The veteran has now tied his career-high with 14 victories and will have several starts down the stretch to eclipse the mark. In 157 innings this season, Morton has 188 strikeouts and a 3.15 ERA. The right-hander delivered a breakout season in 2017 and has backed it up with another stellar campaign in 2018.--Joey C - RotoBaller
