7 years agoX-rays came back negative on New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (ribs) after he was hit by a line drive in the ribs on Saturday. Syndergaard allowed a season-high 12 hits and four earned runs while also walking four in 6 2/3 innings against the Phillies, but he still got the win to go 11-3 on the year. Despite the ugly outing, he has a 3.44 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 9.3 K/9 on the season. Hopefully he'll be able to make his next start, but stay tuned for more information.
