Josh Allen Makes His NFL Debut
6 years agoBuffalo Bills rookie quarterback Josh Allen entered Buffalo's Week 1 matchup in Baltimore with the Bills trailing 40-0 and completed six of his 15 passing attempts for 74 yards. He had an excellent opportunity to generate his first touchdown pass, however Kelvin Benjamin was unable to make the catch. Allen was able to move the Bills offense more effectively than Nathan Peterman, although the Ravens had already established a massive lead once he began operating under center. It is highly possible that Allen will be named as his team's starter for Week 2, as Peterman did not supply any justification for continuing to perform as Buffalo's signal-caller. But Allen will be contending with a collection of hurdles of within his team's talent deficient offense if he assumes QB1 responsibilities.
