Marwin Gonzalez Slugging .543 Since All-Star Break
6 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez will try and keep his strong second half going when the team travels to Detroit to take on the Tigers Monday. After a dismal first half, Gonzalez is slashing .283/.361/.543 with nine doubles and nine home runs over his last 41 games played. The versatile player is trying to make the most of a disappointing season after driving in a team-high 90 runs in 2017. Gonzalez has been awful hitting at Minute Maid Park but is slashing .275/.351/.489 in 66 road games this season. Gonzalez is coming off hitting his 15th home run of the season on Sunday and his arrow is pointing up heading into the fantasy week.
