7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen (heart) met with a cardiologist that performed his heart surgery last Thursday, and it was determined that he is 100 percent certain that Jansen will have another surgery around two weeks after the season ends. Jansen didn't join the team in Colorado for their weekend series against the Rockies, but he is rejoining the team in Cincinnati on Monday and should immediately be available again in save situations moving forward. The hard-throwing right-hander should be returned to all lineups. His offseason surgery shouldn't really affect his status as an elite fantasy closer going into 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
