7 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Mike Montgomery is in line to start against the Nationals on Thursday in a makeup game. Montgomery has certainly been an asset for the Cubs in the absence of Yu Darvish this year, and he has helped fantasy owners as a streamer for most of the year. The left-hander has a 3.85 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 34 outings (15 starts), although the upside isn't great with his lack of strikeouts (6.0 K/9). Montgomery is a risky streamer on Thursday because of the fact that he hasn't pitched since Sept. 4 and that the game is in danger of being postponed due to expected inclement weather.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
