Luis Urias Pulls Hamstring, Possibly Done For Season
6 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Luis Urias was diagnosed with a pulled left hamstring. Urias was helped off the field after hurting himself attempting to leg out a grounder to first. Hamstrings are typically a multi-week injury so it’s possible he is done for the season. It’s an unfortunate break for the 21-year-old prospect who was slashing .208/.264/.354 with two homers in his first 53 big league plate appearances. There’s no real urgency for the Padres to rush him back and Urias should be in prime position to be the Friars starting second baseman in 2019. He remains a worthy stash in dynasty formats.
