6 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in his team's 10-5 win over the New York Yankees on Tuesday. The veteran first baseman sent a fifth-inning offering from Yankees right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga over the fence for his fifth career grand slam. Mauer is now hitting .272 with six homers, 51 runs, and 43 RBI in 423 at-bats this season. He doesn't offer much power at this stage of his career but he can still be useful in AL-only formats. Mauer will look to stay hot against ace right-hander Luis Severino on Wednesday.--Matt T - RotoBaller
