6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz pitched the entire game on Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants, only allowing a single run on six hits. He had seven strikeouts while walking a single batter. Foltynewicz displayed excellent control in the game, as he tossed 75 of his 108 pitches for strikes. This continues a recent stretch of dominance for the right-hander, that has seen him compile a 1.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 48/12 K/BB ratio through his past seven starts. Foltynewicz is a fantastic option any time he takes the mound. He projects to take on the St. Louis Cardinals in his next start on either Monday or Tuesday.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
