David Price Twirls Gem On Wednesday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter David Price was excellent on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He went seven shutout innings, only allowing three hits while striking out seven batters. His record improved to 15-6 on the season to go along with a 3.42 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 169/43 K/BB ratio. With that in mind, Price has pitched exceptionally well over his last 15 starts. In that timespan, he has an 8-2 record with a 2.96 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, and an insane 97/13 K/BB ratio. He has been one of the best pitchers in the entire league in the second half of the season and should be started on Wednesday against the New York Yankees.
