6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Clay Buchholz (elbow) was scratched from his start against the Rockies on Thursday due to right elbow stiffness. It's a tough break for a team that is running out of time to make up ground in the National League West race. Buchholz has been lights-out for the Snakes and fantasy owners this year, going 7-2 with a 2.01 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 81 strikeouts in 98 1/3 innings over 16 starts.
