6 years agoBoston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that infielder Eduardo Nunez (knee), who left the game early with a sore right knee on Thursday, will not play on Friday but could return to play Saturday. It doesn't appear Nunez's injury is too serious, but they'll give him a game to rest. Nunez doesn't have the counting stats to really help owners in shallow mixed leagues, but he should see more playing time at the hot corner than Rafael Devers to close out the season. That counts for something in deep mixed and AL-only leagues. Expect Devers to man the hot corner on Friday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
