6 years agoDon't let all of the hype surrounding Denver Broncos rookie running back Phillip Lindsay cause a sudden case of amnesia when it comes to their other promising rookie and preseason darling Royce Freeman. There's no reason the two can't co-exist. Both saw 15 carries in Week 1 against Seattle and both turned those 15 carries into 71 yards. Freeman figures to be the first in line to receive the carries around the goal line and is still listed as No. 1 on the depth chart, and until any of this changes, he remains a solid RB2, especially against a Raiders defense which allowed the Rams backs to pick up 5.38 yards per carry on Monday night.--Leonard Francis II
