6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon (knee) underwent ACL surgery on Tuesday and the tear was "pretty clean," according to a source. McKinnon is still out for the year, but this is a great sign that his recovery should go smoothly. He should be ready for the 2019 in plenty of time. McKinnon was hyped up heading into his first season with the Niners and was a popular early-round fantasy selection, so it was even more devastating when he blew out his knee in training camp.
