6 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was unable to find the end zone in the win over the Ravens. The sophomore back dealt with a right knee injury that sidelined him for a brief period during the contest, but overall, he was still able to rack up 84 yards off of 21 carries. Unlike Week 1, where he was featured in the team's passing attack which resulted in five receptions for 54 yards against the Colts, Mixon only caught a single pass for an underwhelming three yards on Thursday night. Nonetheless, he still had an relatively efficient game from a fantasy standpoint. Mixon and company will have extended time off between now and Week 3 where the Bengals will take on the Panthers. He will likely pop up on the team's injury report at some point, but if he is able to go against Carolina, which he likely will, he should continue to be a focal point in Bill Lazor's offense, getting an abundance of touches and looks from quarterback Andy Dalton in the passing attack.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
