The 21-year-old proceeded to go 1-for-2 with a solo homer in a 4-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays. The talented Devers has experienced a sophomore slump this season, as he has endured some painful cold streaks. He has 17 homers on the year to go along with 56 RBI, 50 runs scored, five stolen bases, and a .239 average. He's been too inconsistent to earn a full-time role with the Red Sox, resulting in a relegation to the bench.
