6 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Yonder Alonso (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Alonso will get the night off against the left-handed starter. Yandy Diaz will play first base and bat sixth against lefty Matthew Boyd. Diaz has not seen much playing time in September, but he could be an interesting option against Boyd. He's does not offer much power at the plate, but he should be cheap and be able to get on base.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
