6 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Brett Phillips (shoulder) has been cleared to pinch hit after he took batting practice on Thursday and Friday. Phillips should be able to return to the lineup soon, but he's hitting a putrid .198/.262/.342 with two homers and 11 RBI in 111 at-bats this year and can probably be left to the waiver wire in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
