6 years agoSan Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt (knee) was pulled from the game early on Friday, but he said he has no long-term concerns with his knee and considers himself day-to-day. Manager Bruce Bochy said it'll be hard to keep starting Belt the rest of the year if he can't make it through a full game. On top of it, Belt has just four hits in 32 at-bats (.125) this month with no homers or RBI. He seems likely to need an offseason procedure to fix the issue.
