6 years agoNew England Patriots right tackle Marcus Cannon (calf) will take an impressive improvement in order to play through a calf injury in Week 2 against the Jaguars, according to a source. The team is preparing LaAdrian Waddle to play this week if Cannon can't suit up. If Cannon doesn't play on Sunday, it'll be a downgrade to New England's backfield. Running backs Rex Burkhead (concussion) and rookie Sony Michel (knee) are also questionable, so James White could be heavily involved.
