6 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota (elbow) is active for Week 2 against the Texans, but he did not do much in pre-game warmups and he continues to struggle with gripping the football. Mariota is dealing with a pinched nerve in his throwing elbow and still has not regained complete feeling in his fingers, according to sources. There is no telling how he'll respond to action on Sunday, and there's a great chance that backup Blaine Gabbert either starts or plays in this game. Fantasy owners just shouldn't chance it at all with Mariota in this one. Gabbert could play most of the game with a makeshift offensive line protecting him against a solid Houston pass rush.
