6 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Case Keenum heated up late Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't quite enough to put up the fantasy numbers needed to justify a start this week. Keenum completed just 19 of 35 pass attempts for 222 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception, finishing with the day with 14.48 fantasy points. The Broncos receivers were on the wrong end of three challenges, reversing what could've been two TD passes and another long gain, but Keenum's one-yard rushing TD late in the fourth quarter saved fantasy owners from what was otherwise a disastrous outing. Keenum will look to bounce back in Week 3 against a Baltimore Ravens defense that allowed Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton to throw for four TD passes against them on Thursday night.--Leonard Francis II
