Carlos Hyde Salvages Afternoon With Short TD
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Carlos Hyde struggled on the ground against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, gaining just 43 yards on 16 carries. Hyde only caught one pass for seven yards but he was able to salvage his day with a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter. The touchdown gives Hyde a score in each of his two games played this season but the veteran runner is only averaging 3.5 yards per carry thus far. Hyde will continue to see volume this season, which will keep him in the high-end RB3 conversation most weeks., although his final stat lines aren't going to look pretty on days he doesn't score a touchdown. The Browns have four days to get ready for the New York Jets on Thursday night.
