6 years agoFormer Cleveland Browns kicker Zane Gonzalez (groin) had been kicking with a groin injury that required an MRI exam on Monday, according to a source. The Browns wound up releasing Gonzalez and signing Greg Joseph on Monday. The groin issue might help explain why Gonzalez missed two field goals and two extra points in the 21-18 Week 2 loss to the Saints, but it didn't help save his job.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
