Eugenio Suarez Continues Slumping Monday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez has hit a rough patch in his season. The veteran went 0-for-4 on Monday with two strikeouts in his team's 8-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Suarez is now hitting just .190 with one homer, four runs, and one RBI over the past two weeks. Overall, it has been an excellent campaign for Suarez, who has a .285 average, 32 homers, 76 runs, and 101 RBI. Despite the excellent numbers on the season, fantasy owners might want to put him on the bench for the fantasy playoffs, at least until he shows signs of breaking out of his slump. He will face Brewers starter Chase Anderson on Tuesday.
