6 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake (abdomen), wide receiver Devante Parker (finger) and quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle, knee) all practiced in full on Wednesday. Parker was limited last week but didn't play for the second straight week. It's already looking like he's primed to make his season debut in Week 3 against the Raiders, which would lower the boom ceiling of Kenny Stills. Drake and Tannehill are expected to be fine and will play. Drake is a solid RB2 choice, while Tannehill is more of a QB2 for fantasy owners. With Parker struggling with injuries and drops so far in his career, he can't be trusted in fantasy until he shows us more.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

3 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 20 of his 33 passing attempts for 266 yards and two touchdowns. He posted 23.34 fantasy points, good for a QB10 finish before Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football. He only rushed one time for nine yards, so he didn't reach a ceiling outcome, but he was a solid starter and a more than acceptable QB2 in superflex leagues. It'll take time for Tannehill to build chemistry with all of his new weapons, but it was a good opening showing heading into a matchup with the Bills.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

3 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has a wide range of outcomes as the Titans host the Giants in Week 1. Tannehill lost A.J. Brown and Julio Jones in the offseason and welcomes Robert Woods, Treylon Burks, and Austin Hooper to his offense. The pass-catchers in place all have upside, but it might take time for this offense to click. However, Tannehill has rushed for 14 touchdowns over the last two seasons and is always a threat to produce QB1 numbers thanks to that rushing upside. With the lack of certainty at pass-catcher, he could run even more in 2022. Ultimately, he's a boom-or-bust play in single-QB leagues and a strong upside play in Superflex leagues.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

3 years agoTennessee Titans tight end Austin Hooper made it his personal mission to develop chemistry with quarterback Ryan Tannehill since joining the team. The two have put in extra work during downtime in practice and they are in constant communication after repetitions during team and 7-on-7 periods. Tannehill has complimented Hooper's savvy route-running ability and quickness that helps him get open. With receiver A.J. Brown now in Philadelphia, there will be extra targets to go around in the offense in 2022. Since Tannehill took over as the starter in Week 6 of 2019, 24% of his targets have gone to tight ends, and he's thrown 25 of his 76 touchdowns to TEs. Hooper was a big disappointment in two seasons with the Browns after back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons in Atlanta in 2018 and 2019, but he could rebound in his first year in Tennessee as a TE2 with upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

3 years agoTennessee Titans rookie quarterback Malik Willis isn't in a competition with Ryan Tannehill right now, and he won't be breathing down Tannehill's neck to win the starting job in training camp either. Willis' mission is to learn and improve as much as possible in his first days, weeks and months on the job. With that said, the former Liberty signal-caller is an intriguing QB prospect because of his arm and legs. He was mostly accurate in rookie minicamp practices, displayed his strong arm and fit the ball into tight spaces. As expected, Willis had a few bad throws as well and had some issues taking snaps. His technique clearly needs some work, but he'll certainly be a coveted dynasty league prospect in fantasy as he develops the next couple of seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
