Carlos Hyde Gains 98 Yards, Scores Twice
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Carlos Hyde turned in a big game in his team's 21-17 win over the New York Jets on Thursday night. Hyde carried the ball 23 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns to help lead his team to victory. It was a big breakout for Hyde, who had been struggling to find much room to run over his previous two games. The threat of Baker Mayfield throwing in the second half loosened up running lanes for Hyde, who took advantage. Mayfield is expected to remain the Browns' starting quarterback going forward, which gives Hyde a bump in fantasy going forward. He draws a plus matchup in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders.
