6 years agoNew York Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon (ankle) and cornerback Eli Apple (groin) have been ruled out for Week 3 against the Texans. Vernon is dealing with a high ankle sprain and hasn't played yet this year. It might be a struggle for him to play in Week 4 as well. Apple's loss is a blow to the secondary and is good news for Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and his receivers this Sunday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
