6 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Lourdes Gurriel was 1-for-5 with a two-run homer in Thursday's 9-8 comeback win over the Tampa Bay Rays. The 24-year-old has nine home runs on the season to go along with 32 RBI and a .284 average. Gurriel has showcased a potent hitting ability and projects to be an everyday infielder for the Blue Jays heading into next season.
