6 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) will be shut down for the rest of the homestand due to lingering back soreness. He will accompany the team on the road trip and will resume playing then, according to manager A.J. Hinch. Since returning from his initial back injury on Aug. 10, Correa is hitting just .174/.257/.223 with one homer, 13 RBI and 29 strikeouts in 121 at-bats. They'll give him a rest and hope that he can return to his normal self heading into the playoffs. Fantasy owners might not be able to count on him for much the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
