6 years agoLos Angeles Rams shutdown cornerback Marcus Peters (calf) suffered a calf injury in Week 3 against the Chargers and will not return to the game, according to a source. Peters' injury looked serious enough that it could keep him out of multiple games beyond Sunday, but we'll have to wait and see what tests show. LA's defense remains a strong point even with Peters sidelined, but it'll significantly lower their ability to cover opposing wideouts.
